Mealtime should be an important moment for each student to eat, relax and share a moment of conviviality with his or her classmates. It is also an opportunity to learn about education and respect for food and equipment.
Le restaurant scolaire de l’EFIB propose un service de repas, tous les midis, ouverts à tous les élèves, de la maternelle au collège.
Meal preparation
Les repas que nous proposons à nos élèves sont préparés par un prestataire extérieur (ZFV) et sont livrés sur place dans nos locaux tous les jours peu avant midi afin de garantir une fraicheur des aliments indispensable et une conservation garantissant ainsi une transition intacte entre le lieu de fabrication et l’assiette de l’élève.
Healthy, varied and seasonal meals
The International French School of Berne has chosen to offer its students healthy and varied menus to meet their daily dietary requirements.
We also make it a point of honour to prepare seasonal meals using organic and/or Swiss food.
Special diets and food allergies
Students are offered two types of menu each day: "classic" and vegetarian.
We dedicate one day of the week to a 100% vegetarian meal.
Avant toute inscription au restaurant scolaire, il vous sera demandé de remplir l’onglet « santé » sur Eduka afin de nous indiquer toutes allergies alimentaires dont est atteint votre enfant ainsi que le choix d’un régime spécifique (pas de porc, végétarien…) afin que notre personnel puisse en avoir connaissance à l’avance.
In the event of a severe allergy (e.g. to gluten), the school is unable to provide a meal. Families are responsible for providing a meal for their child, within the framework of a protocol validated by a doctor.
My child takes part in an extra-curricular activity at lunchtime
If your child is involved in an extra-curricular activity (A.P.E.) during lunchtime, he or she will not be able to benefit from the school catering service.
In the event of an oversight, parents will be charged for the lunch provided by the school restaurant on the day of the oversight.
