The French International School of Bern (EFIB) has joined forces with the charity initiative organized by French-speaking schools in the Canton of Bern. The entire school community has come together to support various activities, including a charity run, a bake sale and sale of handmade crafts created by the students, a raffle for a gift basket, and an awareness campaign.
The students showed a great deal of interest and commitment. The project provided an opportunity to discuss the war in Ukraine, offer insights into the situation, and answer the students’ many questions. The middle school students were eager to support humanitarian demining by creating posters and an awareness-raising video.EFIB Middle School Students Commit to Humanitarian Demining | French International School of Bern
The posters were displayed at the sales booths to benefit the “A Million for Peace” project during the EFIB’s annual evening event dedicated to sustainable development. The “Partnership for Peace and Social Cohesion – SDG 17 and SDG 18” section was primarily dedicated to the project and generated significant public interest. An event committed to the planet at the EFIB – Tuesday, May 20 | French International School of Bern
The students are excited to present the funds they have raised to the DIGGER Foundation, with the aim of protecting civilians and enabling them to resume their daily activities.
