French Around the World and Through the Centuries 🇫🇷 ⏳
Interclass discovery and creative workshops
As part of French High Schools Around the World Week, an initiative led by the AEFE, we organized interclass discovery and creative workshops on December 2 to explore the richness and diversity of the French language! 🎉
Following the success of our video “French, to me, is…, ” the EFIB continued its celebration of the French language with a week full of discoveries and creativity.

Students from elementary school through middle school participated in various workshops and activities that highlighted the richness and diversity of the French language:
- Creative workshops in elementary school, where students explored French expressions and let their imaginations run wild.
- Language and creative challenges in middle school that encourage collaboration and self-expression.
Highlights of this week include:
- The choice of the term “Éfibisme, ” an original word coined by the students to reflect their unique connection to our school and the French language. Have you ever heard of “volbuler” (to want), “globuler” (to see), or “rigoulouf” (a fit of laughter)?
- Inspiring slogans about the Francophonie, including the winning slogan: “The Francophonie is a melody,” highlighting the cultural and linguistic richness of the French language.
These opportunities to share and learn have helped our students deepen their connection to the French language while fostering their creativity.
