As part of the cantonal project “A Million for Peace,” students at the EFIB middle school are participating in a fundraiser to finance a Swiss demining machine to be used in Ukraine.
This concrete initiative, carried out in collaboration with other schools in the canton of Bern, is featured in the video below.
Following the peace run organized by elementary school students last week, it is now the middle school students’ turn to present their initiative: a fundraising drive to support the purchase of a Digger D250, as part of the “A Million for Peace” project.
This Swiss-made machine is used for humanitarian demining in civilian areas affected by war.
