Exam

The national diploma of the brevet evaluates the knowledge and skills acquired at the end of the collège. The brevet does not condition access to a higher class at the end of third grade.

Since the 2017 curriculum reform, the brevet des collèges has evolved in its grading and tests.

The main points to remember:

  • A notation on the skills acquired at the end of the third grade,
  • Written subjects on the final exam: French, Mathematics, History-Geography and two subjects from among Physical Sciences, Technology and Earth Sciences,
  • An oral presentation on a practical interdisciplinary course (E.P.I), an educational pathway or the history of the arts done during the year,
  • The total is marked out of 800 points.
